Massimo Indrio è autore di tanti libri per bambini/ragazzi e flipbooks e ha disegnato tanti giocattoli, oggetti e gadget promozionali.

Disegnatore, animatore e illustratore, è anche architetto e vive e lavora a Firenze.

Ha realizzato più di quaranta flip books (libri a cartoni animati) che hanno come protagonista un buffo omino panciuto che si chiama Bula Bula e dodici con il personaggio di nome Pinco.

Alcuni dei libri che ha scritto hanno vinto dei premi ( Premio Internazionale dell'umorismo di Bordighera 1997, Premio Sarezzo 1997, L'aquilone d'argento 2004).

Ha realizzato anche dei cartoni animati veri e propri: la fiaba "Il reame pietrificato" (10'), la serie "Mister Poppy" (13 x 40") e il cartone "Le strabilianti avventure dell'esploratore Maccherone".

Gli ultimi ebooks, storie divertenti e surreali della serie 'Dal diario di Erik', non sono per bambini.
